Cegyr, the Argentinean clinic of the Eugin Group, was founded as a pioneer in 1983 and is now celebrating its 40th anniversary.

In 1985 it achieved the first birth in the country using the In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) technique and in 1994 the first pregnancy using the ICSI technique.

To commemorate its 40 years of uninterrupted work to make it possible for everyone who feels the desire to start a family to do so, two Scientifics events were held in Argentina.

The Cegyr team, led by Dr Sergio Papier, and some members of the international Eugin Group network attended an event held on October 3rd at the Museum of Latin American Art in Buenos Aires (MALBA). This gathering brought together eminent figures in the field of assisted reproduction, both national and international, in a tribute to the company’s professional and human trajectory, a benchmark in Argentina.

To round off the celebration, on October 4th, a scientific event was held under the umbrella of EBART Campus, attended by more than 150 specialists in assisted reproduction and gynaecologists, where the topic of discussion was “Fertility Preservation – Today is the Future”.

Our CEO, Eduardo Gonzalez and our Group Medical Director Dr Amelia Rodriguez-Aranda participated actively in these events.
