Record number of studies presented by the Eugin Group at the 40th edition of ESHRE
From July 7 to 10, 2024, Eugin Group had the opportunity to participate in the 40th edition of ESHRE held in Amsterdam. Recognized as the leading event in Europe dedicated to fertility and assisted reproduction, it serves as a fundamental platform for knowledge exchange and innovation in this field.
In this edition, we presented a total of 25 studies, a record number of accepted publications! Among these studies, there were 4 oral presentations and 20 posters showcasing various research in pioneering fields of assisted reproduction and fertility.
One of these studies, by Felicitas Azpiroz from the R&D team, received the ‘Basic Science Award‘ for her work: “The impact of aneuploidy in human preimplantation development: findings from the extended in vitro culture of 191 human embryos.”
Oral Presentations by Eugin Experts
We had 4 oral presentations:
- Gemma López: Is AI the future of sperm quality assessment? A comparative study of AI-enhanced and conventional semen analysis systems.
- Irene Miguel Escalada: Investigating the embryonic contribution to recurrent pregnancy loss: a retrospective analysis of embryo quality, chromosomal status, and morphokinetics in 11,169 embryos.
- Felicitas Azpiroz: The impact of aneuploidy on human peri-implantation development: findings from the extended in vitro culture of 191 human embryos.
- Styliani Galatidou: Molecular insights into the decline in oocyte quality with advanced maternal age: findings from comprehensive single-cell omics analysis of 112 human oocytes.
Poster Presentations: Showcasing Expertise in Assisted Reproduction
Here you can see the 20 posters presenting the results of different research projects by our experts:
- Yannina Díaz: Toward enhanced genetic counseling with PGT-SR: exploring the impact of chromosomal rearrangement type and carrier gender on the acquisition of transferable embryos.
- Micaela Galain: Is mosaic embryo transfer a valid alternative for patients lacking euploid embryos? a multicentric study from Argentina.
